Quadrant Update

WebTech Wireless™ is pleased to announce the latest release of Quadrant 8.6, which includes new features and enhancements to provide you with a more comprehensive location-based services and Telematics solution.

Key new features includes: 

Vehicle Operations and Maintenance

• California Smog Checks: WebTech Wireless systems are now approved by the California Bureau of Automotive Repair for use in their remote smog check program. 
• NEW! Odometer and Engine Hours Report which you can run on a daily basis to help you track fleet utilization
• Vehicle and Driver Performance Reports now include:
  • Support for the latest model vehicles, which incorporate CANbus diagnostics protocols: J1939 (heavy duty) and J1979 (light duty and passenger
  • User-customizable fuel type settings: the system defaults to gasoline or diesel based on vehicle type, but users can now modify this if necessary for the appropriate CO2 calculation
  • Vehicle identifiers IMEI and VIN
  • Sharp Acceleration and Hard Braking (GPS-based for light-duty OBDII and CAN/J1979; diagnostics-based for heavy-duty J1708 and CAN/J1939
  • Excess speed for light-duty vehicles. New distance/odometer calculations for Mack trucks 
    
    

Work Time Management and Hours of Service (HOS)

• HOS Violation, HOS Summary, and Driver Log Reports support customizable Start Time for US and Canada
• HOS Canada and US profiles: Fleet administrators can now select Canada or US profiles through Quadrant Driver Administration
• Vehicle in-Motion alert:sent when truck is in motion but no driver is logged in (required for HOS rules)   

Real-time Status and Control (Dispatch)

• MDT status messages now include location (street address, city, state) and can also be used to flag potential issues such as potholes      

 
Quadrant Administration

• Vehicle Administration: Quadrant users can easily access more information such as Locator serial number, VIN, make, model, year, fuel type and diagnostics bus type
• Driver Groups can now be created in Quadrant
• Spanish is now an optional language for the Administration area
• French is available for WebTech Personal Locator™ device activation
