Anwar Sukkarié
President & Chief Executive Officer (founder)
Mr. Sukkarié is a business development and sales executive with over 17 years of experience in telecom and wireless industries. Prior to assuming his founding role as President & CEO at WebTech Wireless, he was Business Development Director for the Middle East, Africa and the UAE with Motorola WDG and Motorola EMEA. His responsibilities included sales, business development and the introduction of GPRS technology to network operators. Prior to this role, Mr. Sukkarié was the Senior Project Manager for key multi-million dollar projects, including Federal Express and Hutchison UK, one of the first public wireless packet data systems implemented in the world.
Cameron Fraser
Chief Technology Officer (founder)
Mr. Fraser has 30 years of technical and business experience in telecommunications with a focus on wireless data. Prior to co-founding WebTech Wireless as the Chief Technology Officer, he spent 10 years with Motorola's Wireless Data Division as Director of Product Development. His responsibilities included system architecture, quality, product marketing, engineering and field deployment. In this role, Mr. Fraser was responsible for the development of Motorola's CDPD cellular data system and worked on the Hutchison Hong Kong network where he was responsible for the design, implementation and acceptance of one of the first public wireless packet data networks deployed in the world. Prior to Motorola, Mr. Fraser worked at an industry founding wireless data startup, Mobile Data International (MDI) where he developed wireless data applications.
Neil G. Chan
Senior Vice President Worldwide Sales and Marketing
Mr. Chan has over 20 years experience in the wireless communications industry, with extensive expertise in product and service development, marketing and sales. Most recently, Mr. Chan served as the founding executive and Vice President of Global Accounts for Airvana, Inc., a world- class 3G infrastructure supplier that sold to the top 25 CDMA carriers worldwide. As Motorola's Vice President and Managing Director for the Broadband Communication Sector for the Asia Pacific Region, Mr. Chan was responsible for growing annual revenues from start-up to $400M within four years of operation. Mr. Chan also chairs several private networking and application software companies.
Scott B. Edmonds
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Edmonds has more than 20 years of experience in international business leadership and management. Prior to joining WebTech Wireless, he was CFO at QuIC Financial Technologies, a global solutions provider in the risk management industry. Mr. Edmonds has also served as CFO at Chancery Software and held a variety of senior financial and management roles in both Europe and Asia during his nine years with The Walt Disney Company. Mr. Edmonds earned his Chartered Accountant designation while with Coopers & Lybrand (now PwC) in Toronto, holds a B.B.A. (Honours) in Finance from Bishop's University and has completed the Executive Development Program at the Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
Larry Juba
Vice President, Operations
Mr. Juba has over 20 years of experience in building and leading engineering, operations and professional services teams for wireless technology companies. He has extensive experience in International Operations, Project Management, Systems & Applications Engineering, Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Customer Service, Manufacturing, Product Management and IT. During his career, Mr. Juba has held Vice President and Director roles and has been responsible for deploying and supporting large wireless enterprise systems in companies such as Digital Dispatch Systems and Glenayre.
