Vancouver, BC- July 19th, 2007 – WebTech Wireless Inc. (TSX: WEW). a leading fleet Telematics products and services provider, has revised its strategy for expanding market share in the Brazilian Personal Automotive market. This new strategy is based on four goals, namely: appointing an established master distributor for Brazil to develop the entire Brazilian market; developing and implementing a plan for monetizing over 80,000 active WebTech Wireless Locators in Brazil; concluding agreements with a number of insurance companies to facilitate the after-market Telematics anti-theft service for new subscribers; and to create sufficient market demand to allow Volkswagen to recommence assembly line installations of WebTech Wireless locators on Volkswagen production lines in Brazil.

WebTech Wireless is currently engaged in negotiations with an established insurance company in Brazil to conclude a Master Distributor Agreement. Details of the agreement will be announced in due course.

The proposed new Master Distributor Agreement would replace WebTech Wireless’ exclusive agreement with Crown Telecom, which has been terminated by WebTech Wireless due to Crown Telecom’s inability to secure financing and thus clear its previously announced breach by the deadline of July 20th, 2007. The termination by WebTech Wireless does not absolve Crown Telecom of its debt to WebTech Wireless, which WebTech Wireless continues to pursue through business and legal channels. Among the non-legal options that WebTech Wireless is pursuing is the conclusion of an agreement whereby Crown would continue to provide the Telematics anti-theft service to their existing subscribers and continue to farm the captive audience represented by approximately 60,000 vehicles equipped with WebTech Wireless Locators. The proceeds from offering this service would be partially applied against Crown Telecom’s debts to WebTech Wireless.
