Crown Telecom Launches 24 Horas Service and Contract Negotiations Continue

BURNABY, BC - October 26, 2006 -WebTech Wireless Inc. (TSX-V:WEW), a provider of location-based and fleet Telematics services, today announced that Crown Telecom, its exclusive distributor in Brazil, participated in the 24th Sao Paolo Auto Show. Crown Telecom's impressive presentation section was setup in the Volkswagen award winning stand at the show. The show began on October 16th and ends this week, October 29th. WebTech Wireless (TSX-V:WEW), a leading fleet Telematics products and service provider, prominently appeared at the show as the supplier for all services and products that power the Crown Telecom solutions in Brazil.

At the show, Crown Telecom and Volkswagen launched "24 Horas", a service aimed at offering security and safety services to the owners of Volkswagen passenger vehicles manufactured for the Brazilian market and sold in Brazil.

The "24 Horas" service is powered by WebTech products and services, modified and upgraded to meet the Brazilian market requirements by Crown Telecom, and completely managed and serviced by the Crown Telecom technical, commercial and business teams across Brazil.

Crown Telecom and WebTech are in the final stages of negotiations on a contract that will govern their exclusive relationship for the rollout phase.
