January 4, 2006 - Volkswagen to install WebTech Locator at Assembly Line in Brazil. Crown Telecom places a confirmed purchase order for CDN$ 6 Million with WebTech Wireless - WebTech Wireless to ship over 20000 WebTech Locator units to Brazil

Burnaby, BC - January 4, 2006 - Crown Telecom, a provider of location-based and fleet Telematics services and WebTech exclusive distributor and operator in Brazil, has placed a confirmed purchase order for over 20,000 WebTech Locator devices. WebTech Wireless (TSX-V: WEW), a leading fleet Telematics products and service provider, has accepted the purchase order woth over CDN$ 6 Million confirmed with a down payment. Shipments have already commenced in November as per an approved shipping schedule for a 12-month period. The devices will be installed in new Volkswagen Golf and Parati models sold at over 500 Vokswagen dealerships across Brazil for safety and security purposes. A WebTech Locator device will be installed in all new Volkswagen Golf and Parati models on the asesmbly lines at two Volkswagen factories in Brazil. The approval process for this order included rigorous testing and certification by Volkswagen of WebTech products and services as operated by Crown Telecom in Brazil prior to allowing assembly line installation. The program provides location-based and Telematics services by Crown Telecom and an insurance program geared at anti-theft and safety applications.

Simply put, driving a Volkswagen Golf is now safer and more secure."

The owner of a new Volkswagen Golf model will be entitled up to a 40% discount on car insurance premium upon participating in this program. Crown Telecom is responsible for operating and offering the service in Brazil. The security and safety services could be expanded to include communication and entertainment applications. Such additions may be possible because of their flexiblity and scalability of the WebTech products and services.
