Vancouver - June 18th, 2007 – WebTech Wireless Inc. (TSX: WEW). a provider of location-based and fleet Telematics services, today announced that Clarence J. Chandran has joined the Board of Directors. Mr. Chandran has extensive experience serving on the boards of technology and industrial companies in North America and internationally and brings valuable expertise in corporate governance.

Mr. Chandran is a former Chief Operating Officer of Nortel Networks. During his Nortel career he had direct oversight of both product portfolios and geographic regions which included the USA, Latin America, Asia, Europe & the Middle East. Mr. Chandran retired from Nortel Networks in 2001.

He is a member of the Board of Directors of Novelis Inc.(aluminum rolled products), the privately held Marport Deep Sea Technologies Inc., (3D acoustical visualization imaging) and a member of the Board of Visitors of the Pratt School of Engineering at Duke University, North Carolina. Mr. Chandran formerly served on the boards of organizations such as MDS Inc. (Life Sciences) Toronto, (NYSE/TSX), and Alcan Inc. (Primary Aluminum) Montreal, (NYSE/TSX).
